Owned by a successful rock band, this studio occupies a large part of a residence and barn in rural Virginia. The site is located on a remote wooded property and provides undisturbed space for rehearsals, writing and recording between hours. A large live room and two isolation booths flank the control room. Four skylights, oriented for daylight without direct sun glare, puncture the pitched roof with its solid lumber trusses.
